How to add a title and subtitle:

This is the question I get most frequently even though it’s in my FAQ and I’ve answered it publicly more times than any normal human should. Follow the trusty, red arrows!

Step 1: Go to your blog’s page and click on “Customize theme.”

Step 2: Under the appearance options, scroll down until you find these boxes:

If the boxes above are not in your appearance options, re-install your theme and follow this guide.

IMPORTANT: These two things are in the appearance options. The majority of people get the “blog title” confused with the “title” which is next to the description in the customizer:

That title is not in the appearance options, and changing that will only change this:

Step 3: Save your changes.
